Glasgow City are looking for volunteers in a variety of capacities to come on board and support Scotland’s Premier Women and Girls’ Football Club.
With two senior and two junior teams currently associated with the club and an Under 11’s planned for 2011, Glasgow City are looking to recruit more volunteers to join one of the nation’s most ambitious clubs.
Currently City are looking for:
Coaching Staff – We are currently looking for more coaches to join our existing staffing levels of the First team, Reserves, Under 15’s, Under 13’s and our planned Under 11’s. We welcome goalkeeping and outfield coaching staff. All abilities are welcomed and all staff receive Adidas GCFC branded kit and are developed through their coaching badges as relevant and mentored by our full-time Head Coach. Please do not be afraid to apply, all standards are welcome and will be developed.
Videographer – We are looking to recruit a volunteer to film all First Team matches. No previous experience is necessary and guidance and equipment will all be provided.
Grants Officer – We are looking for a Grants Officer to solely look after all club grant applications and monitoring forms. No previous experience is necessary as training, help and guidance will be provided. The only criteria is bags of enthusiasm.
Book Keeper – to assist with the ongoing accounting of the club, we require a Book Keeper to work in conjunction with the Club Treasurer.
Journalist Enthusiasts – budding writers are wanted to assist our current media mogul in compiling match reports and articles for our club website, which receives over 2 million hits per year.
Club Kit Officer – we are looking for a volunteer to be in charge of all club kit and equipment in an administrative capacity.
Team Co-Ordinators – we are looking to recruit a Team Co-Ordinator for each side to liaise with our existing staff – coaches, treasurer, team administrators, kit officer – to ensure a constant flow of information and conformity amongst all teams within the club and to be a single point of contact for their designated team for all members of staff. This role would include handling new signings and player releases for their team in accordance with the club manual.
