This Sunday - Glasgow City v Hamilton Accies

Glasgow City take on Hamilton Accies this Sunday in their first home match at Petershill Park since lifting the League Cup in style over a week ago.

City remain the only Premier League side to still boast a 100% record, but could face a stern test on Sunday against an Accies side in desperate need of points to make the top six, with the League split only two matches away.

Commenting on Sunday’s match sponsored by McAdam King Business Psychology, Glasgow City Head Coach Eddie Wolecki Black said, "I have been very surprised by Hamilton's form this season and their away form in particular must be a worry to Kevin (Murphy) and his staff. After the disappointment of not making the top six last season they are in serious danger of not making it again this year.

"When I look through their squad they have a good mix of experience and youth. However for some reason they appear to be misfiring. There is no doubt in my mind that when a team has a lot of quality in its ranks then it is surely only a matter of time before they hit form.

"As usually happens when a team is struggling, the cup draw usually throws up a tough tie and fate has proved me correct with their pairing against Rangers in the Scottish Cup in a few weeks time. Therefore they are going to have to hit form at some stage to give their season a boost. Personally I hope we can delay that turn of form for at least a week."

Glasgow City take on Hamilton Accies on Sunday 9th June at Petershill Park, G21 4DD. Cash Gate: Adults £5, Concessions £3, Kids Free.
