Scotland U19 defender Georgie Rafferty joins City
Glasgow City have secured the signature of Scotland Under 19 defender Georgie Rafferty.
The 17 year old youth international joins having left Celtic and becomes the fourth new face in the City squad for the season ahead. Capped at all youth levels, Rafferty recently moved up to the Under 19 squad and was part of the successful side who reached the European Under 19 Championship Finals alongside new team mates Fiona Brown, Abbi Grant and Megan Cunningham
Commenting on his latest signing, Glasgow City Head Coach Eddie Wolecki Black said, “ As a club we are always delighted to give young players an opportunity and I am delighted that Georgie has agreed to join the club. We have a good mixture of youth and experience at City and it is vital to have this mix if the young players are going to develop. Playing with some of the country's best players I am sure Georgie's career will progress well at the club and I wish her all the best.
