Scotland A squad training camp calls up 8 City players
Eight Glasgow City first team players have been called up to the A Squad National Training camp this weekend.
The City players involved are Megan Cunningham, Fiona Brown, Nicola Docherty, Abbi Grant, Hayley Lauder, Jo Love, Cheryl McCulloch and Leanne Ross, with Megan, Fiona, Abbi and Cheryl receiving invites to join up with the A squad for the very first time.
The Glasgow City players will be involved in the camp this Friday and Saturday, but will be released to be available for selection for City’s first pre-season challenge match which is against Sunderland this Sunday.
Glasgow City v Sunderland takes place at the Excelsior Stadium, Airdrie, 2pm kick off. Entry is via a cash gate, priced Adults £5, Concessions £3 and U16’s FREE.
