Scot Under 19's win again
City's Lisa Evans and Emma Mitchell were part of an excellent Scottish 5-1 win over Bulgaria yesterday in the Under 19 European Championship Qualifiiers.
Despite going behind, Scotland came back strongly to defeat hosts Bulgaria by a convincing four goal cushion. City's Evans was on target for the second match in a row for the young Scots with Celtic's Rebecca Dempster netting a hat-trick and Jenna Ross from Rangers, scoring number five.
Scotland now face an extremely difficult match against Italy, who have also, like the Scots, played two and won two. With only the winner of the group sure to qualify, Scotland need a big performance against the much fancied Italians.
The match kicks off at 4pm on Thursday at the Albena 1 Stadium, Albena, Bulgaria.
