Rumbling Tum sponsor City's Nicky Docherty
Glasgow City are thrilled to announce the Rumbling Tum snack bar as a new sponsor of City and Scotland defender, Nicky Docherty.
One of Scotland’s most famous and popular snack bars, the Rumbling Tum is situated in Abbotsinch Industrial Estate, next to the BP Oil Refinery in Grangemouth. Known as the ‘best bacon buttie in Scotland’, many travel far to enjoy their daily snacks, but it is the love of one of their own which has encouraged Janice Hill and her family, who own the Rumbling Tum to back Nicky.
Speaking about the sponsorship, Brenda Bolton, part of the Hill family said, “Nicky is a local lass and we have been so proud to see her career blossom. Our dads were good friends and it simply fantastic to see Nicky in the Scotland squad and now with Scottish Champions Glasgow City. She is still a young player and we hope her career with City goes from strength to strength and she achieves all the success she deserves. We are delighted to be able to help her in this small way.”
Make sure you pop by to enjoy one of their famous bacon butties on your next trip near Grangemouth. It is great to have another small business backing Scottish sport at its very best.
If you would also like to sponsor Nicky or indeed another City player, please email secretary@glasgowcityladiesfc.co.uk for a no obligation sponsorship pack.
