Richard Morpeth sponsors Leanne Crichton 
Glasgow City are delighted to announce the latest first team player sponsorship as Richard Morpeth signs up to back Leanne Crichton for the season.
City midfielder Leanne joined the club two years ago and has enjoyed considerable success winning back to back trebles in her first two seasons at Glasgow City and reaching the last 16 of the Champions League. Her club form has also made her a regular in the Scotland national team and Leanne boasts over 30 senior international caps and is part of the Scotland world cup qualifying squad currently over in Bosnia ahead of Thursday’s game.
Commenting on his sponsorship, Richard said, "I am delighted to offer my support to Leanne and Glasgow City for the rest of the season. Although I stay down south, I am a big fan of the club and try to make games when possible. I have been impressed by the commitment, drive and success of the club for all of these years and I am pleased to offer my support in this way. Leanne is a very important player for Glasgow City and is one of my favourites. She is also a regular national team player which highlights her talent and drive to be the best she can. I was delighted to see her score the second goal for Scotland against Poland at the weekend. It was a fantastic way to mark her come back from injury. I wish her and Glasgow City the very best for 2014."
