Nicky Docherty speaks of life at City one month on 
A month after signing for Glasgow City, with countless training sessions and two matches under her belt, Nicky Docherty speaks to the City website regarding how she is settling in and what she thinks of her new team and the set up at Glasgow City.
She said, “I had two good years at Rangers Football Club. When Eddie approached me at the end of last season, I was thrilled at the opportunity as City are such a big club in women’s football. To be honest I never thought I would have said I had signed for Glasgow City as I was such a big Rangers fan, but to play in Europe was a big dream of mine, so I took a week to think things over and I had no doubts when I said yes. I have started training with the club and the training has been great. The intensity City train at is a fantastic standard and my team mates are such a good bunch of girls. Eddie and the staff have been great too and are always helping. You also get a massage every week if you need it, which I love. I look forward to my time at Glasgow City and I am excited for the season ahead.”
