Glasgow City are delighted to welcome Glasgow’s West end based
Northcote Surgery on board as a new player sponsor for 2010.
Scotland’s number one team face a number of financial challenges to continue to perform at the high standard which has seen them win every domestic trophy for the past two seasons and compete with the very best in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Training five times a week, the commitment from the City players and staff is outstanding and without the support of sponsors, it would be very difficult indeed.
Doctor Peter Dawes, a partner at Northcote Surgery, commented,
“The partners at the surgery have read with interest the success of Glasgow City over the past few years and feel they are a fantastic example to women and girls across the country. We are also delighted to see the launch of their new youth set-up which will undoubtedly promote the health and well-being of girls in the Glasgow area.
