Maritime Craft sponsor City duo Emma Fernon and Leanne Crichton
It is with great pleasure that we announce that one of Glasgow City’s main sponsors, Maritime Craft are extending their sponsorship once more with the club by backing City Scottish internationalists Emma Fernon and Leanne Crichton for the season ahead.
The maritime services company, who are based in Largs, but work all over the world, renewed its core sponsorship of the Scottish Champions last November in a deal which coincided with their announcement of a £9 million expansion plan across Europe. They also sponsored two City stars in the treble winning 2012 season just passed.
This latest partnership news of Martime Craft stepping in to sponsor defender Emma Fernon and midfielder Leanne Crichton is a tremendous boost to the Scottish Champions and the players themselves as they head off to Germany this weekend for the ‘Meet the Champions’ prestigious invitation only tournament in Potsdam.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Financial Director, Nikki Kuyt said, “We are delighted to continue our player sponsorship with Glasgow City. We recognise the commitment and dedication the players give to the club to be the very best elite athletes that they can and we would encourage local businesses to also get involved with such a forward thinking and successful football club.”
The sponsorship is also a timely boost to Leanne Crichton who has been selected for the Scotland squad to face Olympic Champions the USA later this month. Scotland regular, Emma Fernon, misses the trip as she recovers from injury.
