Local firm sponsor Emma
Glasgow City are pleased to announce that Coatbridge born defender Emma Fernon is to be sponsored by local firm BJ Transport for the 2010 season.
The sponsorship rounds off a fine week for Emma, who has also been named in Anna Signeul's international squad for the Cyprus Cup next week.
BJ Transport is a truck and trailer services company based in Coatbridge. Confirming the sponsorship, owner Brian James said,
"Our company has been aware of Glasgow City and their successfor a number of years now and have always been delighted to see a local girl doing so well for them. I am awarehow hard the team works financially to maintain theirprofessional approach, let alone fund their European exploits, so we were delighted to offer some help to Emma when we heard the team were looking for player sponsors."
