Evans in Scotland Under 19 squad
Glasgow City striker Lisa Evans has been selected for the Scotland Under 19's double header international challenge matches against Denmark.
Having recently returned from injury, the 17 year old regains her place in the Under 19 set-up, a fantastic reward for her hard work and commitment. Scotland will take on Denmark in two matches on the 8th and 10th September respectively, with both games at the new Spartans facility of Ainslie Park in Edinburgh.
Evans is one of five Glasgow City players at the prestigious Stirling University and SFA Football Scholarship programme , however, fellow teammates and Scotland Under 19 regulars Eilish McSorley, Emma Mitchell and Lauren McMurchie were all unavailable for selectio due to injury.
City's fifth player at Stirling Universtiy, Jane Ross, has just recently became a fixture in National Manager Anna Signeul's A Squad set-up.
