Evans & Mitchell aid Scotland win
City’s Lisa Evans and Emma Mitchell were part of the Scotland Under 19 first eleven who defeated Northern Ireland 2-0 in yesterday’s European Championship Qualification match in Bulgaria.
Two first half goals from Scotland was enough to secure the win, with Evans and Celtic’s Rebecca Dempster getting the vital strikes.
Scotland’s next opponents are hosts Bulgaria, whom the young Scots will face on Monday at the Druzhba Stadium, Dobrich, Bulgaria.
