Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research
Glasgow City FC sponsor, McCrea Financial Services are proud and very active supporters of charitable causes. Their charity this year is again the wonderful Leukaemia and Lymphoma research http://leukaemialymphomaresearch.org.uk/ and Managing Director Douglas McCrea is hoping to raise a healthy sum to add to the fantastic amount they have raised since 2008.
Sadly, like most of us, Douglas has unfortunately has lost a few good pals to cancer over the last few years and any monies raised will go to a great charity.
Last years event was a 14 1/2 mile walk with Sir Ian Botham which if you remember City stars Lauren McMurchie, Christie Murray, Emma Fernon and Head Coach Eddie Wolecki Black, also joined in with.
This year’s challenge is the 96 mile West Highland Way and Douglas and his team will be setting off in the first week in July.
