Leanne Ross is presented with 75th Scotland cap

Congratulations to Glasgow City’s Leanne Ross who was presented with her 75 cap before Scotland’s match against the Republic of Ireland on Thursday.

The City and Scotland midfielder was presented with her milestone achievement by Scottish FA Chief Executive Stewart Regan, before the team went on to defeat the Republic of Ireland in dramatic late fashion in the UEFA European Championship qualifiers. Coming back from an early goal down, Scotland equalised on the 86th minute through a Rhonda Jones header before City striker Christie Murray scored a wonderful 20 yard strike to seal the win for the Scots with three minutes of normal time remaining.
