Laura Montgomery is honoured at awards

Glasgow City are proud to announce that co-founder Laura Montgomery was last night honoured at the prestigious McDonalds and Sunday Mail Grassroots Awards at Hampden Park for her dedication to girls’ and women’s football.

Presented with her trophy by Craig Levein and Kenny Dalglish, Laura was rewarded for her outstanding commitment to Glasgow City and the game in general.

From running the club to promoting the Scottish game, Laura is one of the biggest driving forces behind the development of women’s football in this country.
