Kelsey Boyle joins Glasgow City new Development squad
Glasgow City are delighted to add Kelsey Boyle to our Development squad for the new season.
The 16 year old versatile Scotland youth international joins from Hibernian and can play in midfield and defence and becomes a key addition to Development Lead Coach Andy Gardner’s squad for the new season.
Commenting on securing Kelsey, Andy said, “We are thrilled to add a player of Kelsey’s quality to our squad. She is a player the coaching staff have had their eye on for a while and she brings good experience having represented the national team at youth level.”
“We hope that we can take Kelsey to the next stage as a player and see her challenge for a place in the first team squad.”
Glasgow City Development squad is a new team for season 2015 and enters the senior women’s game in the Second Division. The squad has a great balance of youth and experience. Having a Development squad benefits all of the players at the club. The first team players returning to full fitness can do so without the pressures associated with first team matches whilst the youngsters benefit greatly from having experienced first team players to guide them through games.
