Julie Melrose joins Glasgow City 
Following quickly on the back of the signing of Amy Bulloch, Glasgow City are thrilled to announce the latest addition to their squad with the arrival of Julie Melrose from Rangers.
Commenting on the signing of Julie, City Head Coach Eddie Black said, “It’s fair to say that in previous seasons Julie has not had any continuity to her football and we hope that she can finally bring stability to her game and begin to enjoy her football again. Of course there are many who feel Julie is a gamble, but in my opinion every signing is a gamble, and I think people forget that although she has been playing for a few years now, at 22 years of age she has still not reached the peak years of her career. If she applies herself to the philosophy of the club and shows the attitude, determination and hunger required to compete for a place then I am convinced she will be a huge success.”
