Glasgow City nominated for Inspiring City Award
We are delighted to announce that Glasgow City has been nominated for the Inspiring City Awards – PEOPLE MAKE GLASGOW 2014.
The Inspiring City Awards aim to celebrate the people and organisations who make Glasgow great and reward those who have gone beyond the call of duty to encourage, mentor and support investment and growth in Glasgow.
Glasgow City has been nominated for the ‘Sport' Award and will find out at the gala black tie dinner event on Thursday 11th September if the club has been successful in winning the prestigious award.
Commenting on the club’s nomination, City Club Manager Laura Montgomery said, “We are absolutely thrilled to be considered for this award by our home City. We are proudly representing Glasgow and Scotland in the Champions League at the moment and this is a fantastic boost for us ahead of the Champions League last 32 draw on Friday.”
