Glasgow City new appointment
Glasgow City are delighted to announce the appointment of James Tedford as Community Partnership Manager.
James joins an ever growing backroom staff at Glasgow City Football Club as the Club strives to fulfil its short and long term plans and objectives.
Commenting on the new appointment, Club Manager, Laura Montgomery said, “This is a key role for us and one which we have been looking to fill for over a year, but we have never found the right person until now. We have big plans to grow our involvement in the Community in specific key areas and James has been brought in to lead this.
“He will work autonomously in a number of areas and will also link in with Amy McDonald, our Head of Youth Development in other areas. This is a very exciting time for our club. Our success at First Team level continues to grow and the expansion of our club at youth level is making tremendous strides forward in such a short space of time. It has been important on occasions never to bite off more than we can chew, but we feel now, particularly with the appointment of Amy and James, that we can take the next leap forward in the development of our club.
“We are delighted to welcome James on board and he has already proven in such a short space of time to be a key asset to the club. He has fitted in extremely well and is as driven and ambitious for the club as the rest of the staff and we look forward to his input over the coming months and hopefully years.”
