Glasgow City international round-up
Glasgow City said a mini-farewell to 10 first team players this week as they join up with their home nations for international world cup qualifiers.
Seven City players team up with the Scotland squad for matches against the Faroe Islands and then Bosnia – Herzegovina in their opener World Cup Qualifiers for Canada 2015. Nicky Docherty, Rachel Corsie, Suzanne Mulvey, Leanne Crichton, Suzanne Lappin, Leanne Ross and Rachel Corsie are all part of an 18 strong player pool hoping for six valuable points to get the Scots off to the perfect start.
Strikers Denise O’Sullivan and Ruesha Littlejohn have been named in Sue Ronan’s Republic of Ireland squad to take on Slovakia and Croatia and new signing Jess Fishlock heads home to Captain Wales in their match against Belarus.
In youth internationals, Amy Anderson and Carla Boyce have been selected for the Scotland Under 17 team for the second qualification round of the European Championships in Hungary from 30th September to 8th October where the Scots face Hungary, Norway and Finland.
In the younger age group, congratulations to Katie Rice, Brogan Hay, Murron Cunningham and Oli Crawford who have all been selected for the Scotland Under 15 training camp on the 4th -6th October.

The international break now means that the SWPL won’t resume until Sunday 29th September when Glasgow City will travel to Edinburgh to take on Hibernian at Albyn Park, Broxburn. Kick off 2pm
