City have nine to face Norway

Glasgow City have nine players in the Scotland squad for this Thursday’s challenge match against Norway at East End Park in Dunfermline.

Scheduled for a 2pm kick off, City will be represented by players Eilish McSorley, Leanne Crichton, Christie Murray, Emma Mitchell, Jane Ross, Leanne Ross, Emma Fernon, Nicola Docherty and Jo Love. City Captain Rachel Corsie misses out due to work commitments.

The announcement sees a welcome return to the Scotland squad for City striker Christie Murray who had been out for over 15 weeks with injury. It also sees the selection once more of City midfielder Leanne Crichton who is now in her second squad running after an absence from the Scotland team for a few years. Crichton’s selection is testament to her great form since signing for City at the start of the season.
