City girls make history
Congratulations to Leeanne Campbell, Emma Fernon and Sue Lappin, who each made their own piece of personal history following City's 9-0 win over Boroughmuir Thistle.
For Leeanne, the match against the Capital side was her 200th competitive start in her nine years with the club, and for Emma, Thursday night's win represented the 22 year olds 100th competitive start for the Champions. Glasgow City now have five current first team players with over 100 starts for the club, with a number of others only a few games away from this milestone.
Sue Lappin's hat-trick against Boroughmuir was her 100th League goal for Glasgow City. Not too bad a return for an attacking midfielder and City's all time top goalscorer, who has now scored 135 goals in all competitions for the club.
