Glasgow City face tough Henson Projects Scottish Cup tie

Live on Real Radio on Monday evening, Glasgow City were drawn out the hat to face Forfar Farmington in the Quarter Finals of the Henson Projects Scottish Cup.

With Forfar riding high on a phenomenal season so far, City Head Coach Eddie Wolecki Black, knows his side have one of the toughest ties of the round.

He said, “Firstly as always with any cup draw we are happy it is a home tie, however, there is no doubt that on current performances it is a clash of the two in form sides. Forfar have won their last 7 fixtures in a row and only our own excellent run can match that form. I think it shows what a fantastic job the players, staff and management have done at Forfar over the past few seasons. They have a settled side who are very well organised and have gained good experience over the past few seasons. It is of no surprise to anyone at our club that they are sitting third in the league. I know our players are keen to have an extended run this year and this is just the kind of tie which forces us to be totally focused.

The match will take place on Sunday 25th September at Petershill Park.
