City defeat Killie
League Champions, Glasgow City defeated Kilmarnock 29-0 tonight.
On target for City were Leanne Ross (8), Jane Ross (7), Sue Lappin (4), Kat Lindner (3), Emma Fernon (2), Leeanne Campbell (2), Megan Sneddon (1), Clare Gemmell (1). An own goal by Kilmarnock completed the scoring on the night.
Head Coach Eddie Wolecki commented, "We are delighted with the performance of the girls tonight. We managed to make a number of changes to the team and everything worked well. It was good to see so many different players on the scoresheet, but credit to Kilmarnock for working hard throughout the whole game. They are an extremely young team who are learning and I have no doubt they will get better and better as the season progresses.
