City boss named Manager of the Year
Glasgow City First Team Manager, Peter Caulfield has been named Scottish Women’s football Manager of the Year.
Peter was awarded with his accolade at the recent Sun sponsored Scottish Women’s Football Awards Night at Hampden. This is the first time such awards have taken place and is a welcome addition to the Scottish women’s football calendar.
In charge of Scotland’s treble winning side and the team that reached the last sixteen of the UEFA Women’s Cup, Caulfield was perhaps an unsurprising winner, but it did not make his achievement any less remarkable.
He said, “I was absolutely delighted to accept the Award, but although it is an individual award, I accept it on behalf of the team and all staff at Glasgow City. It belongs to everyone at the club and it simply adds to the success of a fantastic season.”
