Glasgow City and Hibs line up a cracker

It’s the biggest match of the season so far when League leaders Glasgow City face second placed Hibernian in the SWPL’s top billing on Sunday.

With both sides boasting a 100% League record this campaign the match is lined up to be a cracker and one City Head Coach Eddie Wolecki Black says his side will need to be at their best to get the win they want.

He said, "I have to admit I have been surprised with how well Hibs have started the season and there is no doubt that they have quality and a youthfulness to their squad. However, they have shown a remarkable consistency and have overcome every challenge in the League so far.

“Considering Willie lost several key players from last season he appears to have once again put together a team capable of challenging for all the honours in the Scottish game. I am sure this Sunday's game will be an entertaining match and the competitiveness of both sides will shine through. We know that we will have to be at our best to take anything from the game. Therefore it's is important that in the last few weeks we have managed to become a bit more like ourselves again."
