City Sign Under 19 Captain Corsie
Glasgow City are delighted to announce the addition of Scotland Under 19 Captain Rachel Corsie to their championship winning squad.
18 year old Corsie, joins City from Aberdeen LFC, where she has spent the last two seasons. A strong midfielder, Corsie adds yet more quality to City and will now join the club on their exploits into Europe in addition to the defence of the domestic Premier League title.
City boss Peter Caulfield is delighted with his first signing of the season. He said, “We have admired Rachel for some time. She is a fantastic player with tremendous all round ability. Without doubt she will improve our side and as a regular in the Scotland Under 19 squad for the last three years, she has good experience despite her youth. Her signing continues our desire to improve and build on our achievements of this year. She is yet another quality young player with Glasgow City, showing that the future is very bright indeed for this club”.
