City pampered at Loch Lomond
Glasgow City's First team recently enjoyed a fantastic day at Loch Lomond Golf and Country Club.
Scotland’s Premier League Champions were invited to Scotland’s exclusive golf and leisure club following a meeting between City Captain Laura Montgomery and Loch Lomond Managing Director Niall Flanagan, at a fundraising dinner for the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.
Loch Lomond Golf and Country Club can easily be described as one of the most prestigious club’s in Scotland and somewhere home to the rich and famous. The doors were however open to Glasgow City for one day for an invaluable and incredible experience for the whole of the First team.

After being welcomed with pastries and coffee, City went clay pigeon shooting, before being allowed access to the very impressive Spa. The girls were able to utilise the gym, treatment rooms, relaxation rooms as well as the vitality pool, steam room, sauna and tropical rain shower to name only a few of the options available.
Lunch was then provided in the stunning Rossdhu House, before the team was given access to one of the conference rooms for a team meeting and game analysis.
City Captain, Laura Montgomery summed up the team’s day.
She said, “This was an experience none of us will ever forget. The staff were so kind and attentive and we could not have asked for more. The clay pigeon shooting was fantastic fun and the Spa was simply indescribable. We could work out, relax and be pampered. It was certainly a chance to see how the other half live and we had a great day. The meeting facilities were very impressive and gave us an opportunity to look over things as a team, which is often very difficult to do over the course of a busy season.”
