Four City stars picked for Scotland
Four Glasgow City stars have been picked for Scotland for the two upcoming Fifa Women's World Cup Qualifiers against Greece and Georgia.
Goal heroes from the victory over Northern Ireland last week, defender Rachel Corsie and striker Jane Ross are joined by midfield duo Leanne Ross and Megan Sneddon as part of a 19 strong squad for the crucial games later this month.
First up for Scotland is an away trip to Athens where the Scots will face Greece on Saturday 24th October at the Akratitos Stadium, kick off 2pm (UK time).
Anna Signeul's side will be looking to bring home three points from that match to lead into the home tie against Georgia at Tynecastle Stadium on Thursday 29th October, kick off 7pm. Tickets available on the gate: Adult £5, child/concession £2.
The City players in particular should be able to offer some advice to their national team mates on the Georgians, since City faced the Champions of Georgia - Norchi Dinamoeli - earlier this year in the UEFA Women's Champions League, defeating them a comfortable
