Four City players in Nordic Cup squad
Glasgow City players are involved in more international action this coming week with four of our girls picked for the Scotland Under 23 trip to the Nordic Cup in Sweden.
Megan Sneddon, Jill Patterson, Suzanne Lappin and Emma Fernon have all made the Scotland squad for the trip to the prestigious Under 23 tournament, and will be desperate to put on a good performance against some of world’s top sides.
Scotland have been drawn in Group 1 alongside Germany, Finland and hosts Sweden. Group 2 includes England, Norway, Switzerland and the USA.

Chosen as Captain for the tournament, City’s Sneddon is the most experienced player in the young squad as she has over 50 international caps for the Senior Scotland A side. She said, “It is an honour to be asked to Captain the team for this trip and I am looking forward to it. With so many City players involved with the Under 19’s and Under 23’s and with Rachel Corsie also captaining the Under 19’s, it shows that Glasgow City is a great team to be involved with.
