Four City players in squad for Cyprus Cup
Four Glasgow City players head out with the Scotland squad on Monday to compete in the Cyprus Cup.
Jane Ross, Rachel Corsie, Leanne Ross and Emma Fernon make up a strong 20 player pool for Boss Anna Signeul to utilise during the high profile matches at the annual international friendly tournament in Larnaca.
The Cyprus Cup is invaluable preparation for the national team as they come back for a World Cup qualifying double-header, with a tie in Georgia on 27th March and a home game against Bulgaria on 1st April.
Joining Scotland in Larnaca for the tournament are some of the strongest nations in women’s football.
Scotland will face Italy, The Netherlands and New Zealand in group 1, with defending champions England taking on Canada, South Africa and Switzerland in group 2.
