Four City players in A squad
Glasgow City have four players picked for the upcoming Scotland A squad
international challenge match against Switzerland, with another two players
on standy-by.
Midfielders Leanne Ross and Megan Sneddon are joined by defender Rachel
Corsie and striker Suzanne Malone for the 18 strong squad selected for the
trip to Zurich, which departs Monday 7th September for four days.
Disappointingly City defender Emma Fernon and striker Jane Ross are not
included in this squad after making the team for the last matches against
France and Denmark. However, for striker Suzanne Malone it represents a
return to the national set-up for the first time in two years, testament to
her talent and drive since signing for City from Celtic in the summer.
Scotland will take on Switzerland on Wednesday at
GC Campus, Niederhasli, Zurich. Kick off 5.30pm.
