Fiona Brown shortlisted for Sky Sports Sportswoman of the month

         

Glasgow City's Fiona Brown has been shortlisted for the Sky Sportswoman of the Month award for November.

Last month was a phenomenal time for the club as it reached the Quarter Finals of the Champions League, becoming the first Scottish club to ever do so and also defeated Spartans to lift the Scottish Cup and in turn the third domestic treble on the trot. Brown was at the heart of these achievements, most notably scoring an outstanding goal against FC Zurich in the last 16 of the Champions League and then again with the opening goal in the Scottish Cup Final

City's young 19 old striker was also rewarded at the Club's own awards evening as she was named Young Player of the Year. However, the Sky Sportswoman of the Month award is the one we all want Fiona to win.
