ClubWorld Sports sign up to sponsor Nicola Docherty
Glasgow City are delighted to announce that ClubWorld Sports Ltd have signed up to sponsor Glasgow City defender Nicola Docherty.
ClubWorld Sports Ltd is a registered Scottish Charity that delivers sports training projects and community sports activities to increase interest and participation in sport across the West of Scotland. The charity also assists talented young people who are keen to develop careers in sport. With this 
commitment to support sporting talent the company is delighted to sponsor Glasgow City's Nicola Docherty for the 2013 season. Development Manager Scott Allison commented:
“We are delighted to sponsor Nicola for the forthcoming season. Our company does a lot of work to support ex professional players from the men’s game and we are now keen to support the women’s game by supporting talented players in any way we can. The commitment and dedication that many female players show to their sport is sometimes not rewarded or recognised enough in Scotland. We hope that by sponsoring Nicola it will allow her to fully focus on football and hopefully this will lead to another successful season domestically and in Europe.'
Nicola spent her first season with Glasgow City in 2012, lifting the domestic treble and was a mainstay in the Champions side, starting 32 competitive games in total, 4 more than any of her team mates. She also made her European debut and started all five UEFA Women’s Champions League matches for City
