City six selected to face Wales
Good luck to the six Glasgow City players who meet up with the Scotland squad today ahead of Sunday’s international challenge match against Wales.
Eilish McSorley, Emma Black, Nicola Docherty, Leanne Crichton, Jo Love and Leanne Ross are part of a 25 player pool brought together as Anna Signuel prepares to select her squad for the crucial last two World Cup Qualifiers in September.
With only the winners guaranteed progression to the World Cup Finals, Scotland currently sit at top of Group 4 ahead of Sweden on goal difference, although Sweden have a game in hand.
Scotland face the Faroe Islands at Fir Park on 13th September, before travelling to take on Sweden on the 17th.
Sunday’s challenge match against Wales is at Palmerston Park in Dumfries and Kick Off is 1pm.
