City shortlisted for award 
Glasgow City have been shortlisted for the 'Team of the Year' award at the Sports Council for Glasgow annual awards next Monday evening at St Andrews in the Square, in the heart of Glasgow, close to the Merchant City.
Scottish Premier League Champions for a record fourth year running and unbeaten in the Premier League for two years, City are delighted to be nominated for the award.
Chairperson, Carol Anne Stewart commented, "It is fantastic to be shortlisted by the Sports Council for this award. We are very honoured to be considered and delighted that they have recognised our achievements both at home in the Premier League and abroad in the UEFA Women's Champions League. I am sure the night will be a great occasion and both Laura Montgomery and myself, who are attending on behalf of the club, are very much looking forward to it."
