City five to take on Iceland
There is simply no rest being a top footballer. After lifting the Premier League Cup on Wednesday night, City stars Suzanne Malone, Jo Love, Leanne Ross, Eilish McSorley and Leanne Crichton were all straight home to get packed for heading to Iceland the very next day with the Scotland squad.
Part of an 18 strong squad, the City players headed to Reykjavik yesterday for their international challenge match against Iceland on Saturday at the national stadium.
Glasgow City would like to wish Anna Signeul and the whole of the Scotland squad best of luck for the match as the team begin preparations for the World Cup Qualifiying campaign which starts in September.
