Glasgow City would like to thank the Bon Accord in Glasgow for their continued support of the club, with the announcement of their sponsorship of City and Scotland defender, Rachel Corsie.

The Bon Accord, one of Glasgow’s most famous bars, has been a proud supporter of Glasgow City FC for almost the entire twelve year history of the club. As well as providing after match hospitality to all City senior teams, the Bon Accord has annually supported the club financially.

This new announcement of the player sponsorship of Rachel Corsie, is another fantastic contribution to the club.

Speaking about the support, Bon Accord owner, Paul McDonagh said, “It has been a pleasure to back Glasgow City all of these years and it has been fantastic to see just how well the club has developed and grown. They have gone from being a new team all those years ago to one that now dominates in Scotland and competes at the highest level in Europe in the UEFA Women’s Champions League. They also now have a brand new youth system, ensuring the long term sustainability and growth of the club. Rachel is one of a number of great players in the first team, and has done brilliantly to impose herself already as a vital member of the national team, despite her young age. I hope our contribution in this way can help Rachel and the club achieve even greater things in future.
