Amy and Craig awarded UEFA B Licence
Congratulations to Glasgow City Head of Youth Amy McDonald and Under 13 Lead Coach Craig Joyce on successfully passing their UEFA B Licence.
Amy and Craig are now the 5th and 6th current Glasgow City coach to have attained this level of professional coaching qualification and adds to high level of coaching staff most importantly within our youth set-up, with Under 15 Lead Coach Laura Williamson having obtained her B Licence last year.
Commenting on their award, Head Coach and UEFA Pro Licence Holder Eddie Wolecki Black said, “Player development is the most vital component of our club and this is only possible if we have the best and most talented coaches. I would like to congratulate Amy and Craig on their achievement, it is not easy to pass your B Licence by any means and they are to be commended for doing so. It is representative of their ability as coaches and I know they will both push on even further from here. We need to have the best staff working with our youth players and I strongly believe that we do at this club.”
